Support
Help comes in many forms. We are community-minded and stay local with our operations as much as possible. We believe that the most effective way to fix problems is to change from within our community first. When you help us, you help your community, and we admire you for that. In turn, we provide help back.
Ways to Support
Your financial support makes a significant impact on the Rescue’s day-to-day operations. We make it easy and painless for everyone to support South West Florida Horse Rescue. We can process cash, check, credit, and PayPal.
SWFHR is always looking for kind, responsible, and community-minded volunteers to join our mission. We could not exist as we do without the tireless giving and tremendous efforts of our equine-loving friends.
Our Fundraisers offer a way to continuously support the horses of South West Florida Horse Rescue throughout the year.
Our Horse Angel Sponsorship program provides an excellent opportunity to support a horse of your choice by making a monthly contribution. Become a horse angel by sponsoring one of our many sanctuary horses who call SWFHR 'home'.
Donating through a horse’s Wish List is a meaningful way to help - by purchasing specific items for a favorite horse’s unique care needs, or by providing everyday essentials that support the entire herd.
Rental items for our horse community are made available to folks who need it while benefiting the rescued horses currently in our care.
Collecting recyclable drink cans has been a steadfast way to earn funds for the horse and improve the cleanliness of our local environment. Through our ‘Recycle For Rescues‘ campaign, we make monthly trips to the recycling plant to scrap, mainly aluminum beverage cans.
