Phantom

Sage and Phantom (previously known as Gray and Ben) were rescued from the Brighton Tribe by the Seminole Police. We learned that the owner had been warned multiple times to provide adequate care for the horses; otherwise, they would be removed from the property. Six months later, the deputy received a call about two loose horses grazing by the side of the road. Upon arriving, he recognized the horses as part of the Brighton Tribe. After issuing another warning, the deputy checked on the horses, but the previous warnings had gone unheeded. Consequently, he removed the gate and loaded the horses to take them to a holding area. The owner agreed to relinquish ownership to the Seminole Police, who then contacted South West Florida Horse Rescue, Inc.

Both Sage and Phantom have thrived in rehab with us; they have blossomed from the inside out, and we couldn’t be more proud of their progress.
