Pauly

In November 2023, Pauly arrived at SWFHR after being seized from a horrific massive animal neglect and abuse situation. Pauly was initially scheduled to be euthanized at the location, but we asked for the opportunity to save his life.

We all fell in love with this poor little old man who had clearly suffered unspeakable cruelty. Pauly was deemed a ‘senior sanctuary’ horse, meaning he would not undergo training or be adopted. Instead, Pauly joined our growing sanctuary horses and was placed in our Horse Angel Sponsor Program.
