The Story
On Thursday, November 10th, 2022, this kitten joined the herd at SWFHR.

God puts us exactly where we are supposed to be. He also puts His creatures exactly where they are supposed to be.

Thursday, November 10, 2022, around 8 pm, by the grace of God, we were able to save a tiny kitten.

While doing evening feeding, we heard a ‘meow’ coming from behind the boy’s barn. After a bit of searching, we found a precious baby kitty lying by the tractor in a pool of water. We scooped him up and took him to the house to dry and warm him up. As luck would have it, the only thing we had left from donated hurricane supplies in the way of cat items was “Cat Milk.” He took to the cat milk very well and devoured it.

After nursing this kitten through the night, some folks helped by bringing us more cat supplies the next day, and we even found out we now have a male kitten.

We thought it fitting to follow our standard procedures for new intakes. Like rescued horses, this little kitty needs a “New Name For a New Life.” He has no name, and we would like your help to name him. Funds will go to his soon-to-be vet bills and the rest to our herd of 17 horses.

This precious kitty has NO idea how much he is loved already!!
